The Westford Coalition for Non-Violence, WCNV and Westford Health Department, has teamed up with the J. V. Fletcher Library for the month of October for domestic violence awareness month.  There will be a display containing fiction, nonfiction books, and DVDs all related to domestic violence awareness.  Available at the library will be handouts listing website resources for victims of domestic violence.

The display will be up for the entire month of October in the Periodical Reading Room.

WCNV is a committee that consists of residents and community leaders, who come together monthly, to provide educational programs and resources for the Westford community. This committee was established in 2010, when the town was profoundly affected, after two of our residents were needlessly taken from us through domestic violence.

The WCNV mission is to promote safety and peace in Westford, to reduce isolation and foster community connectedness.
