PEACEFUL RALLY SUPPORTING AN END TO HUMAN DETENTION CAMPS IN THE US AND THE REUNION OF FAMILIES SEPARATED AT THE BORDER

Lights for Liberty: A Vigil to End Human Detention Camps, on July 12, will bring thousands of Americans to detention camps across the country, into the streets and into their own front yards, to protest the inhumane conditions faced by refugees.

On this day from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. , the Westford town Common will host a peaceful rally in support of an end to human detention camps in the US and the reunion of families separated at the border. At 8 p.m. a candle lit moment of silence will honor those suffering in detention and separated from families. Attendees and others are invited to light a candle in their window at home at 9 p.m. to join the nationwide outcry for human rights.
The rally is sponsored by Indivisible Westford, First Parish Church United, Indivisible Acton, Solidarity Lowell.
