As our funding from cable subscriptions decrease, we need to turn to our viewers and readers for help. If you like the local videos and stories we post online each day, consider contributing to WestfordCAT and help sustain the long-term future of independent, local media. Support local TV.
Westford Community Access Television, Inc. (WestfordCAT) is a Massachusetts 501-(C)3 non-profit corporation, appointed as the Public, Education, and Government (PEG) access provider by the Board of Selectmen of the Town of Westford.
Our mission is to promote and encourage the use of public access resources to enhance a free and diverse exchange of ideas and interests that foster community participation and education. To fulfill this mission, our primary goal is to be the first place Westford residents turn to when they are interested in making or watching programs of local interest that are not covered by mainstream media and to assist them in sharing this content with their local and extended communities.
We offer group and individual training to the community, a full range of on-location and studio recording equipment, three channels for public, educational and government programming, and a website that includes our video on demand library.
Questions or comments regarding the WestfordCAT organization should be addressed to the Board of Directors at email@example.com. If you would like to attend a WestfordCAT meeting, please contact Board President, Dan Bush, at 978-692-7152.
WestfordCAT funds its services by receiving a percentage of cable subscription revenues from the local cable providers. As more and more viewers turn to internet streaming to watch their favorite programs and cut their cable services, they also cut our funding. Please help us continue our services by making a donation to support community television.
